Natalie Joubert

Natalie Joubert is a doctoral student in Welfare, Health and Management (WELMA) at the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio. She holds a Nordic Master in Social Work and Welfare (2019) and serves as a Part-Time Teacher in the Department of Social Sciences within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies. Her research focuses on cultural diversity, parenting practices among migrant families, and Nordic gender equality policies' impact on social inclusion. She has conducted qualitative studies exploring Eritrean refugee mothers' experiences in Denmark, emphasizing integration challenges and cultural adaptation.

Key projects include SOLA Matrix (2022-2024) addressing social quality indicators and SES (2023-2024) focusing on environmental sustainability collaborations between Africa and Finland. She contributes to research groups like Global Development and the Social Work Research and Education Team.
