Natalie Depraz

Natalie Depraz is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Rouen Normandy, affiliated with the UFR Letters and Human Sciences. She holds positions at the Archives-Husserl (ENS/CNRS) and is a leading figure in phenomenological research. Her academic journey includes studies at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and a Doctorate in Philosophy (1994), followed by a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR, 2004).

Research Interests: Her work focuses on phenomenology, intersubjectivity, empathy, consciousness, attention, and surprise. She explores these themes through interdisciplinary lenses, integrating cognitive science, psychiatry, and ethics.
