Dr. Nassis Chrysostomos Protopresbyter is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Theology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, within the School of Social Theology and Christian Culture. His research focuses on Byzantine liturgical tradition, sources of divine worship, and contemporary liturgical practices of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He teaches courses on Byzantine liturgical history, methodology in liturgical studies, and canonical theology. His work bridges historical analysis of liturgical texts with modern church practices.
Research interests include Byzantine liturgical manuscripts, canon law interpretation, and the interplay between imperial policies and worship practices.
