Dr. Naser Al-Hasan is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Newberry College, where he has served since Fall 2012. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1998), alongside M.S. (1994) and B.A. (1992) degrees from the same institution. His academic career includes roles as Associate Professor at Milwaukee School of Engineering (2007-2012), An-Najah National University (2006-2007), Mount Mary College (2001-2006), and Clayton State University (1999-2001).
Research interests focus on Harmonic Analysis (specifically singular/oscillatory integrals), the History of Mathematics during the Islamic Golden Age, and Mathematics Education. He actively contributes to academic leadership as Mathematics Program Coordinator, Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society Advisor, and MAA Liaison. He also coaches Newberry College's Fishing Team.
