Naseem Joban

Naseem Joban serves as Senior Lecturer and EDI Lead in the School of Management and Marketing at the University of Westminster. With over 25 years of combined academic and industry experience, she teaches Leadership (levels 5-6) and Organisational Behaviour (level 4) for BABM Marketing programs while driving institutional equity initiatives.

Her research centers on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion with emphasis on decolonizing curricula, closing the BAME Award Gap, and empowering marginalized groups. This work integrates her Business Psychology background with practical applications in stress management and well-being, informed by her Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) certification and coaching accreditation.

Dr. Joban maintains strong industry connections through three founded companies specializing in SME leadership development. Her dual-track career bridges academic theory and real-world practice, particularly in organizational behavior and psychological well-being frameworks. As EDI Lead, she implements systemic changes to enhance opportunities for Black heritage communities and other protected characteristic groups across the university.
