Narcís Palomeras Rovira

Narcís Palomeras Rovira is a Lecturer at the University of Girona (UdG) in the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology. He is a member of the Computer Vision and Robotics Research Group (VICOROB) and serves as coordinator for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Degree on Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFROS).

• Specializes in underwater robotics, focusing on planning, exploration, intelligent control architectures, mission control, and localization.
• Participated in major national and European research projects including TRIDENT, PANDORA, MORPH, MERBOTS, LOONDOCK, TWINBOT, 3DAUV, and ATLANTIS.
• Active in European Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) competitions such as SAUC-E and ERL.
• Contributed to the development of computer vision and robotics systems through affiliations with VICOROB and the Institute for Research in Computer Vision and Robotics (VICOROB).
