Naomi Zucker

Naomi Zucker is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Family and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She is a PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology, researching the intersection of medical anthropology and science and technology studies, with a focus on psychopharmaceutical withdrawal, discontinuation, and deprescribing.

Her dissertation, AFTER WONDER DRUGS: AN ETHNOGRAPHY OF PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION WITHDRAWAL, examines contemporary challenges in psychiatric drug discontinuation.
