Naomi Lindstrom serves as the Gale Family Foundation Professor in Jewish Arts and Culture and Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at The University of Texas at Austin, where she directs the Gale Collaborative on Jewish Life in the Americas at the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies within the College of Liberal Arts.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. from Arizona State University.
Dr. Lindstrom's research operates at the intersection of Latin American Studies, Gender Studies, and Jewish Studies, with significant contributions to nineteenth- and twentieth-century Latin American literature. Her work emphasizes:
