Nancy Puttkammer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, affiliated with the School of Public Health and School of Medicine. She serves as a Research and Evaluation Advisor at the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH), where she leads informatics projects in Haiti, Kenya, South Africa, and Ukraine. Dr. Puttkammer is faculty Co-Lead of the Digital Initiatives Group (DIGI) and has over 30 years of experience in public health programs across the U.S., Africa, and the Caribbean.

Dr. Puttkammer specializes in strengthening health information systems to improve HIV care cascades in resource-limited settings. She collaborates on health systems strengthening, informatics, and quality improvement initiatives under PEPFAR.
Her recent publications highlight trends in HIV treatment retention in Haiti, the role of EMRs in guideline implementation, and data quality improvements in Kenya. These works emphasize health informatics, implementation science, and HIV/AIDS management in low-resource contexts.
