Nancy Lankton

Nancy Lankton is a Professor at Marshall University's Department of Accountancy and Legal Environment, part of the Brad D. Smith Schools of Business. She holds a PhD from Arizona State University (2000) and certifications as a CPA, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and CET (Certified in Emerging Technologies). Her teaching focuses on accounting information systems, information security, and management control systems. Research interests include trust in emerging technologies, online privacy behaviors, and IT governance. She publishes in leading journals like Information Systems Research and serves as a senior editor at the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. Lankton is also a board member for the West Virginia Society of CPAs.
