Nancy Guo is an Associate Professor at the College of Staten Island (CUNY), affiliated with the Chazanoff School of Business and the Department of Marketing. She holds a PhD in Marketing Science from Rutgers University and previously served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of New Haven (2014–2015).
Her research focuses on digital marketing, marketing and supply chain interface, B2B branding, pricing strategies, and the social dynamics of consumer behavior. She employs tools from statistics and economics to study firms’ strategic marketing problems and consumer social-economic behaviors. She teaches core marketing courses including marketing research, marketing principles, and social media marketing.
Dr. Guo has received recognition through a Dissertation Fellowship at Rutgers University and a fellowship at the 2013 Columbia-Duke-UCLA QuantCamp.
She has published in academic journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Technology Forecasting and Social Change, Transportation Research Part E, and Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics. She advises graduate students and is involved in research that bridges marketing strategy with economic and statistical modeling.
Dr. Guo is based in Building 3N, Room 213B, and is an active member of the academic community at CSI.
