Dr. Nancy Cook is a Professor of Sociology at Brock University's Faculty of Social Sciences, with affiliations in Critical Sociology and Social Justice programs. Her research examines gendered mobilities, transcultural interactions in Pakistan, and postcolonial theory. She studies how infrastructure projects like the Shimshal Road affect gender relations in rural Pakistan and is currently investigating Islamophobia's impact on Muslim women in Niagara.
