Nancy Bray

Nancy Bray is an Associate Lecturer in the English & Film Studies Department within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. She teaches courses including WRS 101 (Exploring Writing), WRS 102 (Writing in the Disciplines), WRS 104 (Writing Persuasive Arguments), and advanced courses in professional communication and composition theory.

Her research explores writing across academic and public contexts, with foci on composition theory, professional communication, climate change discourse, and digital writing tools. Since 2020, she has served as co-editor of Writing across the University of Alberta, supporting undergraduate writing scholarship.
