Dr. Nan Lin is Professor of Statistics & Data Science and Biostatistics (School of Medicine) at Washington University in St. Louis, where he also directs the Master's Programs in Statistics and Data Science. He holds a BS from USTC China, plus MS/PhD in Statistics and MS in Finance from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
His methodological research spans big data computing, Bayesian regularization, and functional data analysis. Applied work includes collaborations in anesthesiology and genomics. Recognized for outstanding mentorship and impactful publications in Bayesian analysis.
