Nami Mun

Nami Mun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Loyola University Chicago. Her work focuses on creative writing, with expertise in short stories, novels, and narrative theory. She holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley (1998) and an MFA from the University of Michigan (2007).

Her research interests include contemporary literature, Asian American literature, and world literature. She has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Whiting Award and Pushcart Prize. Her publications span novels like Miles from Nowhere and short stories in prominent journals such as The Yale Review and Granta.
