Nalini Anantharaman

Nalini Anantharaman is a Professor at the Institute for Advanced Mathematical Research (IRMA), a joint unit of the CNRS and the University of Strasbourg. She obtained her PhD in mathematics in 2000 after studying at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) from 1994 to 2000. Her research focuses on quantum mechanics, wave propagation, and mathematical physics. She has held the IRMIA-USIAS chair and has been affiliated with the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon as a lecturer. Anantharaman served as Vice-President of the French Mathematical Society.
