Nakeyah Giroux-Works is a Postdoctoral Fellow and part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on human-environment relationships, particularly the socio-ecological dynamics of forest privatization, climate plantations, and marginalized communities' access to nature. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Université Laval (Canada).
