Naima Green-Riley is an Assistant Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, jointly appointed to the Department of Politics and the School of Public and International Affairs. Her research focuses on Chinese foreign policy, public diplomacy, and the intersection of race with foreign policy preferences. She holds a Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University, an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University. Prior to academia, she served as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer in Egypt and China.

Research Interests: Chinese foreign policy, U.S.-China competition, public diplomacy, political communication, and racial dynamics in foreign policy opinion. She examines how states use public diplomacy to influence global audiences and how domestic racial identities shape foreign policy preferences.
