About
Nadine Kaul is a Researcher in the Department of Biology at the University of Hamburg, Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences. She is affiliated with the Institute of Plant Sciences and Microbiology (IPM) and works within the Applied Plant Ecology research group led by Prof. Dr. Kai Jensen. Her office is located in the Otto Warburg House, Room 2,085, at Ohnhorststrasse 18, 22609 Hamburg.
Her research focuses on Urban ecology and Remote sensing, where she investigates plant community dynamics and ecological adaptations in urban environments using advanced remote sensing methodologies. This work bridges theoretical ecology with practical applications for sustainable urban planning and biodiversity conservation, emphasizing data-driven approaches to monitor vegetation health and spatial patterns across metropolitan landscapes.
The Applied Plant Ecology group operates within a collaborative framework at the University of Hamburg, integrating field studies with cutting-edge technological tools to address contemporary environmental challenges in rapidly urbanizing ecosystems.
