Nader Hashemi is an Associate Professor at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and Director of the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. His expertise spans Middle East politics, authoritarianism, democracy promotion, and Islam-West relations.
Education: Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto. Former roles include founding Director of the Center for Middle East Studies at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies (University of Denver), Andrew W.
