Nadeen Purna

Nadeen Purna is Lecturer in Business and Management at Oxford Brookes Business School. She leads undergraduate modules including 'The Entrepreneur' and 'Leading with Purpose,' and supervises undergraduate/postgraduate dissertations.

Research focuses on:

• Social innovation in small/local third sector organizations
• Funding behaviors (grants/social investment)
• UK/Scottish social enterprise policy
• Social innovation for Sustainable Development Goals

Publications examine policy frameworks for social innovation (2024), social investment mechanisms, and conceptual boundaries of innovation appropriation by mainstream sectors (2022). Research consistently addresses hybrid organizational structures and policy responses to societal challenges.

Conference participation includes International Social Innovation Research Conferences (2019-2024) and European Social Enterprise Research Network conferences.
