Myron Bruce

Dr. Myron Bruce is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at Kansas State University. He joined the Applied Wheat Pathology Lab after postdoctoral work with the USDA-ARS-HWWGRU and Montana State University’s Rupp lab.

His research focuses on wheat breeding line responses to economically significant diseases like barley yellow dwarf virus, wheat streak mosaic complex, tan spot, and Fusarium head blight, combining field experiments with molecular studies of pathogen diversity. He has previously investigated diseases in sugar beet, pulses, and potatoes.
