Professor Muzlifah Haniffa is a leading dermatologist and immunologist affiliated with the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute at the University of Cambridge and the Wellcome Sanger Institute. Her research focuses on decoding human immune system development and skin biology using single-cell genomics and skin organoid models to advance stem cell therapy and tissue engineering.
She spearheads initiatives like the Human Cell Atlas and Human Developmental Biology Initiative, creating open-access webportals for developmental datasets.
