Muthuraj Swamy

Dr. Muthuraj Swamy serves as Director of the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide (CCCW) and teaches in the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge. He is also a Visiting Fellow at St. John’s College, Durham University, and Project Manager for Theological Education for Mission in the Anglican Communion. Holding a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, he joined Cambridge in 2018 after roles as Associate Professor, Dean of Theology, and Dean of Postgraduate Studies at the Union Biblical Seminary (Serampore University) in India.

His research focuses on global Christianity, theological education, and mission studies, particularly within the Anglican Communion context. He oversees the CCCW’s initiatives to advance understanding of Christianity’s worldwide dynamics.
