Mustaque Ahamad is a USG Regents Entrepreneur Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Computer Science within the College of Computing. He has been on faculty since 1985 and currently serves as associate director of the Institute for Information Security and Privacy. His research focuses on cybersecurity, distributed systems, and dependable systems. He co-founded Pindrop Security and FraudScope, serving as chief scientist in both. Key roles include former director of Georgia Tech Information Security Center (2004–2012) and leadership in telephony security initiatives.
