Murshed Chowdhury is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Director in the Department of Economics at the University of New Brunswick, Canada. He holds a PhD in Economics and has taught at institutions including Algoma University, King’s University College, and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on open economy macroeconomics, development economics, financial regulations, and migration studies. He has authored numerous articles in journals such as the European Journal of Political Economy and Canadian Public Policy, and has received grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and NBIF.
