Murat Saraçlar

Murat Saraçlar is a Professor in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Boğaziçi University, specializing in speech and language processing. His research spans automatic speech recognition, keyword search systems, and multilingual processing technologies.

He holds visiting positions at Google and IBM Research and serves as senior editor for IEEE Open Journal for Signal Processing. Awarded the TUBA-GEBİP Young Scientist Award and IBM Faculty Award, he developed foundational work in discriminative language modeling and spoken content retrieval.

Recent publications focus on few-shot learning for keyword spotting and cross-modal search systems integrating written and spoken terms.
