Murali Rajagopalan

Murali Rajagopalan is an Affiliate Faculty/Industry Research at the School of Materials Science and Engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology), part of the College of Engineering. He joined in September 2022 and actively supports programs like Industry-Mentor, MSE-EAB, MSE Open House, and teaches a graduate course in Polymer Communications. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from McGill University (thesis on ion-containing polymers and fuel cell membranes under Prof. Adi Eisenberg). His research focuses on functional polymers, ionomers, soft materials, composites, and materials for industrial applications.

- 28 years as Director of Golf Ball R&D Materials Research at Titleist (developing commercial golf balls).
