Muna Sabbagh

Muna Sabbagh is a Research Fellow at the School of Health and Social Work, University of Hertfordshire, affiliated with the Centre for Applied Clinical, Health and Care Research (CACHE). Her work focuses on youth justice, restorative justice, and intersections between law and social work.

Research interests include Youth Justice Systems, Restorative Justice (particularly for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic children), Parental Responsibility for young offenders, and Community Courts. She has explored these themes through projects like the Restorative Justice Strategy for Hertfordshire and studies on criminal activity and marginalized youth populations.

Her publications address legislative frameworks for young offenders and community-based restorative justice models, particularly in Ireland. Projects often involve interdisciplinary collaborations with institutions like Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner and the Youth Endowment Foundation.
