Muhammad Adeel

Dr Muhammad Adeel serves as a Research Fellow in Transport Analysis at the Centre for Transport and Society within the School of Architecture and Environment at the University of the West of England (UWE). His work examines sustainable mobility patterns, carbon-intensive travel behaviors, and accessibility challenges in rapidly growing cities, with emphasis on Global South contexts.

His academic credentials include:

• M.S. in GIS from NUST Islamabad
• Bachelor's in City and Regional Planning from UET Lahore

Adeel's research investigates evolving car and air travel patterns, sociocultural drivers of high-emission mobility, and infrastructure impacts on urban accessibility. His methodological expertise spans travel survey design, statistical analysis of transport datasets, emission profiling, and geospatial techniques. Current projects at UWE focus on sustainable behavior change, automated vehicles, and public transport accessibility across UK communities.
