Mubina Schroeder

Mubina Schroeder, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the School of Education and Human Services at Molloy University. She specializes in cognitive sciences, science pedagogy, and educational technology, with a focus on STEM education, social-emotional learning, and technology integration for special populations. Dr. Schroeder co-directs the Cognition and Learning Lab and has held prominent roles including membership on the Executive Board of Directors at the Global NGO Committee at the United Nations, where she advanced educational technology initiatives.

Her educational background includes training in neuroscience and pedagogy. Notable achievements include the New York Times Teachers Who Make a Difference Award and two Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowships from the U.S. Department of Energy. Her research emphasizes cognitive strategies in classrooms, equitable teaching practices, and community engagement in STEM education.
