Muath Abudalu

Dr. Muath Abudalu is a Research Fellow at the University of Bielefeld, affiliated with the Faculty of Sociology and specifically the Department 7 - Media Sociology. He currently serves as a Research Associate working on the German Foundation for Peace Research project titled "Rescaling Conflict, Reskilling Contemporary Humanitarianism".

His research interests focus on the intersection of media, conflict, and humanitarianism within changing social environments. Working within Bielefeld University's strategic research area of "The Changing World," his work examines complex processes of societal dynamics, individual interactions, and institutional transformations, particularly as they relate to conflict resolution and humanitarian practices in contemporary contexts.

As part of the Faculty of Sociology, Dr. Abudalu contributes to Bielefeld's interdisciplinary research environment that transcends traditional academic boundaries. His work connects with the university's Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG) and other strategic initiatives focused on understanding societal change and uncertainty.
