Mousaab Alrhmoun

Mousaab Alrhmoun is a Research Fellow at the University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG), specializing in Agroecology, Environmental Science, and Sustainable Agricultural Practices. His research integrates ecological, botanical, and engineering approaches to address challenges in agriculture and environmental pollution control. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Limoges, France, with additional master’s degrees in Microbiology and Environmental Science, and a bachelor’s in Rural Engineering from the University of Aleppo, Syria.

His teaching experience includes roles at the Superior Agricultural School in France, where he delivered courses on wastewater treatment, agricultural chemistry, and programming applications for scientific analysis. Alrhmoun has contributed to projects such as the “No PILLS in Water!” initiative, CODA, and WAST, focusing on sustainable wastewater solutions and agricultural innovation. He has authored over 13 articles in high-impact journals like Nature and PLOS ONE, addressing topics ranging from herbal knowledge dynamics to dairy cow welfare in mountain farming systems.
