Morgin Jones Williams is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). She is also a member of the leadership team for the Mathematics Opportunities in the Summer (MOS) program. Her research focuses on addressing the historical marginalization of Black girls and women in mathematics education, exploring their multidimensional experiences in K–12, undergraduate, and graduate settings through narrative inquiry. She holds a PhD in Teaching and Learning with a Mathematics Education concentration from Georgia State University (2016), an MS in Applied Mathematics from Hampton University (2008), and a BS in Mathematics from Spelman College (2006).
