Morgan Yamada

Morgan Yamada is a Sessional Instructor in Music Theatre Performance at MacEwan University's Department of Theatre. She is an Advanced Actor Combatant certified by Fight Directors Canada, specializing in choreographing staged violence for theatre productions. Yamada holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta and serves as Co-Artistic Producer of Azimuth Theatre.

Her artistic practice integrates acting, fight direction, and producing, with emphasis on physical storytelling and new play development. She collaborates with companies including Thou Art Here Theatre, Citadel Theatre, and Cloudsway Dance Theatre to create works exploring historical memory and futurity.
