Morag Kennedy

Morag Kennedy is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). She specializes in feminism, intimate partner homicide, domestic abuse, and the impact of digital media on victimization. Her teaching includes research methods, sexual and violent crime, and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. Morag leads the MA Criminology program and the module "Understanding Crime Research."

• Education: PhD and MA in Criminology from Birmingham City University, BSc Hons in Biomedical Sciences, and DipHE in Forensic Psychobiology from Abertay University.
• Research: Focuses on participatory action research, secondary victimization, arts-based prison mentoring, and the long-term effects of the pandemic on vulnerable women.
• External Activity: Chair of the New Bridge Foundation’s Nottingham group and collaborator with the Hollie Gazzard Trust on stalking and workplace safety.
• Awards: Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
