Dr. Monique S. França is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. She holds dual board certifications as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (2013) and the American College of Poultry Veterinarians (2010). Her doctoral research focused on veterinary pathology at UGA.
Her research examines the pathobiology of avian influenza in wild birds and poultry, focal duodenal necrosis in egg layers, and general avian disease pathology. She maintains an active role in diagnostic pathology services for the poultry industry alongside teaching responsibilities.
