Monika Gabryś-Sławińska

Monika Gabryś-Sławińska is a Professor at the Department of Polish Literary History, part of the Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska (UMCS). Her research spans 19th- and 20th-century Polish literature, focusing on Stefan Żeromski, historical journalism, text editing, voice emission, and museology.

Her research interests include political commentary in historical press, media's role in cultural identity, and sociolinguistic trends. She has edited over 29 academic volumes and authored 5 monographs.
