Monika Barthwal-Datta is a Senior Lecturer in International Security at the School of Social Sciences, UNSW Sydney. Her research focuses on critical security studies, securitization theory, strategic narratives, and Indian foreign policy. She explores non-traditional security issues (particularly food security), non-state actors, and regional security challenges in South Asia. Her publications analyze topics like neoliberal education, feminist pedagogy, and narrative theory in international relations.
