Monicque Lorist

Monicque Lorist is a Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, affiliated with the Department of Experimental Psychology. She leads research on cognitive and neural dynamics underlying human performance variability, with a focus on healthy ageing, mental fatigue, and caffeine's cognitive effects. Her work combines behavioral measures and neuroimaging (EEG, fMRI) to study attention, memory, and reward processing.
