Monica Msechu is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Anthropology at New York University. She holds a BA in Anthropology (Biological Anthropology) from the University of Minnesota (2018-2020). Her research focuses on comparative anatomy, primate osteology, and paleoanthropology, with a particular emphasis on Miocene primates, functional morphology, and East African paleoecology. She investigates primate evolution, postcranial locomotion, and biomechanics to understand evolutionary adaptations in early hominins and related species.
