Monica Morrow, MD, FACS, is a Clinical Professor and Chief of the Breast Surgical Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). She holds the Anne Burnett Windfohr Chair of Clinical Oncology and specializes in breast cancer surgery, including both benign and malignant conditions.

- Training: General Surgery residency at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont; Fellowship in General Surgical Oncology at MSKCC
Her research focuses on integrating clinical trial advances into surgical practice, particularly around treatment decision-making for breast cancer surgery, surgical margins, and reducing overtreatment. She has co-chaired key committees defining standards for breast-conserving therapy and lumpectomy margins.
Dr. Morrow is a surgical editor of Diseases of the Breast and co-author of Breast Cancer for Dummies. Her recent articles explore surgical margins, DCIS management, and geriatric oncology challenges.
