Mona Ravn

Mona Ravn is a Teaching Associate Professor and PhD Fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on children and families, emphasizing well-being, social work practices, and integrating practitioner knowledge. She employs qualitative methods like focus groups, ethnography, and document studies. Since 2020, she coordinates the Bachelor of Social Work program, overseeing curriculum design and interdisciplinary collaboration across social work, psychology, law, and social sciences.

Education includes a Cand. Soc. in Social Work (2006–2009) and a Bachelor’s in Social Work (1998–2001). Her research contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in education and social justice.
