Molly Worthen is an Adjunct Associate Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a B.A. and Ph.D. from Yale University. Her research focuses on North American religious and intellectual history, particularly the dynamics of American evangelicalism since 1945 and the intersection of religion with politics and public discourse. She has authored two major books: *Apostles of Reason* (2016), analyzing evangelical intellectual conflicts, and *The Man on Whom Nothing Was Lost* (2014), a diplomatic and educational biography. Worthen also created audio courses for The Great Courses and Audible, including *Charismatic Leaders Who Remade America*.
