Dr. Molly Metz is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto. She teaches undergraduate statistics, research methods, and advanced courses on social psychology of emotion, gender, and close relationships.
Research Interests:
- Interpersonal processes of attraction and social support
- Effectiveness of social support in varying contexts
- Role of individual differences (sex, gender roles, attachment style) in support dynamics
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) focusing on teacher, classroom, and assignment factors affecting student intrinsic motivation
