Dr. Mohd Raashid Sheikh is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, and Director of Hepatobiliary Surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kashmir, India, completed general surgery residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and fellowships in Hepatobiliary Surgery & Transplantation at USC and Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic/Robotic Surgery at Methodist Medical Center, Dallas.
His research focuses on robotic approaches for benign/malignant diseases of the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder, duodenum, pancreas, and spleen. Recent publications emphasize minimally invasive techniques, surgical outcomes, health policy impacts, and innovative cancer therapies.
