Mohan Isaac

Mohan Isaac is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. His research focuses on mental health systems, community mental health, and healthcare training in low-resource settings, particularly in India. He has contributed to 84 research outputs and actively participates in international collaborations.

Key areas of expertise include mental illness epidemiology, comorbidity management, and improving mental health service delivery. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being (SDG 3) and reducing inequalities (SDG 10).

Recent publications explore assertive community treatment programs, psychotherapy training in psychiatry residency, and caregiver burdens in severe mental illness cases.
