Mohammed Maniruzzaman is the Chair and Professor of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery at the School of Pharmacy, University of Mississippi, with a concurrent appointment as Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His work bridges pharmaceutical process engineering and biomedical innovation.
Research focuses on 3D printing and bioprinting of medicines (including biologics and mRNA therapeutics), smart drug delivery implants, hot-melt extrusion for continuous manufacturing, and microbial drug delivery systems.
