Mohammed Hadi

Dr. Mohammed Hadi is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Florida International University (FIU). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida (1990) and has 35 years of combined academic and private sector experience.

His expertise spans Transportation System Management, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and connected/automated vehicles. He develops decision support frameworks, simulation models, and dynamic assignment algorithms for transportation agencies. His work includes evaluating ITS technologies and designing real-time operations tools across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
