Dr. Mohammad Soorati is an Assistant Professor of AI at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Department of Electronics and Computer Science. His research focuses on human-swarm interaction, swarm robotics, and explainable AI, with applications in trust modeling, aerial swarms, and distributed machine learning. He leads the eXplainable Human-swarm Systems project and co-investigates an EPSRC-funded initiative on 5G-connected UAVs. Dr. Soorati sits on the boards of the Center for Machine Intelligence and Center for Robotics.
